Duties
|
Mentor SSS students through 1:1 in-person
· Maintain consistent communication with fellow students and TRIO staff through Teams, Starfish and Outlook
· Active facilitation and leadership in TRIO programming while engaging members in individual and community development
· Research and design ways for students to be actively involved with TRIO
· Engage in D2L discussion board and facilitation
· All other duties as assigned

Qualifications
|
Demonstrated academic strengths including:
o Current Inver Hills student enrolled in and maintain 6 or more credits each semester
o Active participant in TRIO SSS as per the participation agreement. Priority is given to returning TRIO students
o 2.5 minimum cumulative GPA and a minimum completion rate of 75%
· Work-study eligible
· Excellent verbal and non-verbal communication skills, strong grasp of confidentiality, and attention to detail
· Comfortable presenting to small groups and interacting with diverse populations
· Self-motivated to do online research
· Ability to work with limited direct supervision
