Location Activities Building
Duties Assist in the daily management of the Activities Building (Front Desk, Gym, Weight Room, Fitness Center, Game Room, Locker Rooms) Serve in a customer service role: greeting individuals, answering questions or providing direction, checking in users of the gym/weight room/fitness center Open/Close workout facilities: unlock doors, turn on equipment, ensure cleanliness of areas, report maintenance issues Assist in the creation, advertising, and execution of recreational programs including: fitness offerings, sports tournaments/leagues/events, equipment rental, various recreational themed events Other duties as assigned
Qualifications Expectations Serve as a positive representative of Inver Hills Community College and Student Life Willingness to talk to a variety of new people at events and in the Student Life Office Ability to work independently and as a team Students must maintain a GPA of 2.5. If a student falls below a 2.5 GPA, they must meet with Student Life staff member to discuss a support plan. Minimum Qualifications Strong communication skills Willingness to try new things, learn, and get connected to the Inver Hills community Desire to grow and develop leadership skills
Work Schedule Facility hours are currently 9am-3pm Monday-Thursday
