Duties
|
Assist in the daily management of the Activities Building (Front Desk, Gym, Weight Room, Fitness Center, Game Room, Locker Rooms)
Serve in a customer service role: greeting individuals, answering questions or providing direction, checking in users of the gym/weight room/fitness center
Open/Close workout facilities: unlock doors, turn on equipment, ensure cleanliness of areas, report maintenance issues
Assist in the creation, advertising, and execution of recreational programs including: fitness offerings, sports tournaments/leagues/events, equipment rental, various recreational themed events
Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Expectations
Serve as a positive representative of Inver Hills Community College and Student Life
Willingness to talk to a variety of new people at events and in the Student Life Office
Ability to work independently and as a team
Students must maintain a GPA of 2.5. If a student falls below a 2.5 GPA, they must meet with Student Life staff member to discuss a support plan.
Minimum Qualifications
Strong communication skills
Willingness to try new things, learn, and get connected to the Inver Hills community
Desire to grow and develop leadership skills
